Criminal record certificate with apostille + Jurado translation

From the country/countries where the applicant has resided for more than six (6) months within the two years preceding the application submission.

If you already have Spanish residency for more than six months, a criminal record certificate is not required.

Copies of marriage/birth certificates with apostille + sworn translation (traducción jurada)

**An apostille is not required if the certificate was issued in one of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, United Kingdom, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, and Sweden.

One-year health insurance

Public or private health insurance in Spain (not a tourist policy!), issued for one year, with no waiting periods and no co-payments (sin carencia, sin copagos).

Proof of Sufficient Financial Resources

Evidence of sufficient financial means for you and your family members during your stay in Spain. This must be provided in the name of the main applicant based on the following amounts (depending on the family composition):

  • Main applicant: €33,152.00

  • Family member (second person): €13,260.80

  • Each additional family member: €8,288.00 per person
